Again in 1973 the 28-year old Heikki Mikkola try's his luck in the 250cc class.
April 8, 1973. Spanish 250cc Grand Prix at Sabadell.
In the first heat Heikki becomes 3th, behind Jim Pomeroy and Hans Maisch.

Heikki gains a 2nd and a 3rd place in the motos. However Roger De Coster (nr.5) did not score any points in this race due to his participation in the 500cc GP's.
This gets Heikki a 1st and a 2nd place.

Here Heikki (21) is behind Gaston Rahier. Heikki becomes third in the 1st moto, behind Hakan Andersson and Gennady Moiseev.
August 19, 1973. Swedish Grand Prix 250cc at Ulricehamn.
Heikki chases Uno Palm. Heikki becomes 3th in the second moto.
September 2, 1973. Motocross des Nations at Wholen, Switzerland.
