You hadn't raced for eleven years before entering a 1000-kilometer enduro? How did you do? Did it make you want to race more?
I did pretty well. I trained for three months beforehand, running and cross-country skiing. I enjoyed it, but it took too much time away from my business. In the summer I work 12 to 14 hour days, and in the winter I'm out cutting trees and keeping everything going. I just don't have enough time for racing.
You raced enduros before switching to motocross?
Yes, and ice racing too. In Finland we have plenty of ice racing!
